Thanksgiving

A holiday is always a nice excuse to have an unusual lesson with the kids. This time - Thanksgiving. A good way to learn a bit of english and look back at all the good things you’re lucky to have in your life.

For some of the kids, it was almost too difficult to choose : they had so many things to be thankful for. Others just decided they had nothing to be thankful for. Some saw a good opportunity to show their teacher love... which the teacher loved, obviously.

So we started by writing down a few “I am thankful for” sentences before I filmed each one of them reading their work . Here’s what they wrote :

Gezamaria : “I am thankful for my new bike”

Mauricio : “I am thankful for learning english”

Ana Luiza : “I am thankful for having Rosalie in my life”

Joao Paulo : “I am thankful for my teacher”

Giovana : “I am thankful for having a new computer”

Ana Beatriz : “I am thankful for my family”

Some were too shy unfortunatly to appear on the film.... But take a look at our very own thanksgiving film!
